Miami Beach has been invaded by giant pink snails that form a trail from South Beach to North Beach. These 46 pieces of art, made from recyled plastic from landfill bring an artistic, social and environmental message to the community, reminding us to slow down and to remember the importance of recycling.
The seven-foot tall snails are a production of the Cracking Art group's REgeneration Art Projects, which have been featured in major cities around the world.
Some snails include solar lights for optimum nighttime effect.
These pink snails are truly"green"friendly.
