Dali Miami
Wednesday - Sunday, March 7 - 11

See an extensive collection of work by the acclaimed and equally flamboyant surrealist Salvador Dali on view for the first time in South Florida. The five-day exhibition Dali Miami will feature more than 200 works of his expansive artistic repertoire at the Design District’s iconic Moore Building. Produced by Michael Rosen of Colored Thumb, a driving force behind many of the area’s top art exhibits including Art Basel, Art Expo, and RedDot Fair, Dali Miami is curated by Reed V. Horth of Robin Rile Fine Art, a specialist in Dali’s prodigious output. Among the treasures on view will be Dali’s seminal bronze “Venus de Milo with Drawers;” the gouache original “Spring Rain” (1949); the full set of “Dix Recette d'Immoralité” (1973); the rare original intaglio “The Grasshopper Child” (1934); and his Daum glass masterpiece “Montre Molle” (1971), depicting his quintessential melting clock. Fair hours are Wednesday Opening Reception from 7 to 10:30 p.m.; Thursday & Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $20 online and $25 at the door and for the Opening Reception $80 online and $90 at the door. 11 A.M. to 6 P.M.
